The 2021-22 Bemidji State University women’s varsity basketball schedule was recently released by the Beavers. Last year, the Beavers finished 6-7 in the NSIC and gave up a 2-seed to Trinity Myer in the NCAA Division III tournament. This year’s schedule includes a Thanksgiving break trip to Florida to play the Florida Gators. The women’s schedule includes 11 doubleheaders, with a total of 22 conference games.

The women’s basketball team defeated Winona State 63-51 in the NSIC Tournament quarterfinals, moving on to the NSIC Tournament’s semifinals. Although they wanted to advance in the tournament, the team was still content to scrimmage and play competition games to continue their development as an NSIC contender. This season’s schedule will include more conference games and non-conference competition.

Last season, Bemidji State’s women’s basketball team fell to Concordia University-St. Paul, 85-58. The team is a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. Selections will begin Monday, March 13, and will feature three National Championships, 15 Final Four Appearances, and 25 Pac-12 Tournament Championships. Bemidji State University’s 2021 NCAA Women’s Basketball bracket will feature 90 Mavericks named to the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team. Rudd homered in each game this weekend and reached base in 12 of her 13 plate appearances. Rudd’s 3.0 batting average was good enough to earn her the NSIC Winter All-Academic Team honor.

The Mavericks will play three road games this season. In February, they will face Sioux Falls on Feb. 4, Winona State on Feb. 16, and Upper Iowa on Feb. 18. YSU women’s basketball schedule

The Bemidji State University women’s basketball team is off to a fast start with a weekend trip to Bemidji, Minn. The Penguins are a new-look team and have a new look. Their roster features five returning players and several freshmen. Despite some newcomers, the Penguins return six seniors and three juniors. The team also added three freshman, including guard Meghan Olson.

This year, the women’s basketball team is looking to build off of last year’s success. Transfer Maddie Schires will join the squad. The Raiders’ roster includes one other transfer from Youngstown State University, Maddie Schires. On day two, the team shot 319 points and improved one spot.
